How do I know which books are suitable for my child?

Books are categorised by Key Stages and age groups. That makes it easy to find age-appropriate options.

Can I choose books based on my child's age and reading level?
Yes, absolutely! We curate selections that cater to different age groups and reading levels. You can browse and select books that are suitable for your child's age and reading abilities.

Can I get personalized book recommendations for my child?
Yes, Book Mama offers personalized book recommendations based on your child's interests, age group, and reading level. To get help with recommendations, chat with me on the website by using the chat icon in the lower right corner.

Alternatively, email us at hello@bookmama.co.uk with the details about your reader's age, reading ability and interests and I will send you a list of personalised recommendations your reader is sure to fall in love with.

What if I miss the book fair dates?

If you miss the book fair, you can still place an order directly through our website. However, ordering during the fair allows your child's school to earn free books, so we recommend participating if you can.

How long does the book fair last?

The fair runs for a week, allowing you plenty of time to explore the selection and make your purchases. The fair opens at 00:00 on the start date and closes at 23:59 on the final day.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum or maximum order quantity. You can order as few or as many books as you prefer. You can also order for others.

Can I order books for my child's friends or family members?
Absolutely, you can order books for anyone you'd like. Just provide their details during checkout. Alternatively, you can share the link and the school code with them to shop themselves and support your child's school.

How do I ensure my child's order is correctly delivered?

During the checkout process, we ask parents and guardians to add their child's name and class in the comments box. This helps us label each order correctly for efficient distribution.

Can I order books for multiple children in the same household?
You can order books for all your children in one go. Just make sure to specify one child's name and class during checkout for accurate distribution. All the books will be delivered in one package.

For each child in the same household to receive their individual parcel, place the orders independently and provide each child's name and class at checkout.

How can I get involved in promoting the book fair within our community?

You can help spread the word by sharing the news through promotional materials provided by the school, such as flyers and digital assets, on social media, via email, and with friends and family.

We would love to get as many people as possible to take part, in putting smiles on children's faces and further enriching the library.
