Through our carefully curated, affordable book collections and partnerships with schools, we are a catalyst empowering parents and educators to open the world of books to every child, shaping brighter futures.

How It Works

Our World Book Day book fair offers a fun experience for children of all ages. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to own a book of their own, and our book fair is designed to make that a reality.

Free World Book Day Books: Children can exchange tokens for free World Book Day books, ensuring everyone has access to the joy of owning their own story.
Discounted Book Sales: Explore a wide selection of children's books at discounted prices, perfect for building your own library at home or school.
School Fundraising: For every 5 books sold during the fair, the school receives a free book to support its library, fostering a love of reading in the classroom. Free books redeemed with World Book Day tokens will not be included in the calculation of free books for schools.

How it works:

Getting Started: Reach out to us via email at jasmine@bookmama.co.uk to discuss your school's specific needs and goals. We'll work together with you to create a customized book fair plan that suits your school community.
Scheduling the Event: Choose a date and time that aligns with your school's schedule. We'll confirm availability and make the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth booking process.
Logistics and Setup: Our team will handle the set-up and takedown of the book fair. We will provide all necessary materials, display and signage: including packaging and delivery of the books to your school for virtual book fairs.
Promotion and Marketing: We'll provide you with marketing materials to promote your book fair to students, parents, and the community. This may include:
- Posters
- Flyers
- Social media posts
- Email campaigns

How will I receive my order?

Select a Delivery Option
At checkout, choose between home delivery or having your books delivered to the school for distribution.

When Will the Books Be Delivered?
For school deliveries, we process all orders and deliver them 1-3 days after the book fair concludes. You will receive a fulfilment email once the books have been delivered and are ready for distribution.

For home deliveries, books will arrive within 3-5 working days after your order is placed.

How Do Children and Parents Order?

In School Fair
Token exchange for free books
During the in-school fair week, children can exchange their World Book Day tokens for a free World Book Day book at our book fair stall. They can also purchase additional books for £2.99 each.

Wishlist
Children can browse our online catalogue at home with their parents and create a wishlist. This wishlist can be submitted at the stall to purchase books pre-approved by their parents.

Virtual Fair
Parents can shop online with their children during the school’s book fair week. Orders can be placed directly through the school’s dedicated page on our website using the school's unique discount code. If selected, books will be delivered to the school after the fair—just be sure to include your child's name and class in the checkout notes. For home delivery, enter your home address as usual.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

You can order as many or as few books as you'd like, and even place orders for others.

Can I Order Books for My Child's Friends or Family Members?
Absolutely! You can order books for anyone by providing their details during checkout. Alternatively, you can share the link and school code so they can shop on their own while supporting your child’s school.

How do I ensure my child's order is correctly delivered?

We ask parents and guardians to add their child's name and class in the comments box to ensure each order is labelled correctly for smooth distribution.

Can I Order Books for Multiple Children in the Same Household?
Yes, you can order books for all your children in one go. Simply include one child’s name and class during checkout for accurate distribution, and all books will be delivered in one package.

If you’d prefer each child to receive their own parcel, place the orders separately and provide each child's name and class at checkout.
